I apologize If I offended anyone...

This was how I started an email that I wrote to my TEAM in my network marketing company. Apparently, I offended someone when on our weekly call I talked about people who just sit on the side lines and don't take action. The person actually wrote me and told me that they were not in the "trenches" so to speak but liked the fellowship that was provided on the calls. But the felt that I was being insensitive to the fact that they were not working their business. They let me have it, right between the eyes. I deserved it!

BUT...

The point is that anyone who spends money and just sits on the sidelines is not doing a service to themselves. They are biding time! Wasting time is a foolish move since it is something that we cannot recover. When time is gone, it's gone. It has a huge lost opportunity and the measure of what might have happened will never be realized.

Now why do people sit on the side lines?

Well after I sent an apology to everyone on my team, I started getting emails from people who said, "I was not offended". I began to feel good about what I did and what had happened was people were actually taking notice of their business. I care about the people who are just sitting on the side lines, because they are people who maybe for some reason of another were lead astray.

The MLM/Network Marketing thought is to help the people who want help and let the ones who don't ask, wander in the dark. I have trouble with this concept. I think that if they spent their money, I should attempt to work with them. This is why so many people fail in the Network Marketing business, because the up-lines don't work with their people or attempt to do so. They just let them flounder along and ultimately they fail.

Why am I writing you this?

Because if you are someone who is just sitting on the side lines and want help you have several choices. You can take the initiative to call your up-line and ask for help or find a new company and start over the right way. Some times you have to "cut and run" to get ahead. I have done it before. How may times have you looked back and wished you had a resource to go to and get guidance?

I have been coaching people in business for over 30 years and have had great success with people who were to timid to ask for help, but wanted to really grow and achieve happiness and joy. If you are one that has not achieved your wants and dreams then you really should take a look at a new environment. Not every network business is right for everyone. You have to pick one that excited you and give you the motivation to want to really "bust out".

Having the right mentor is essential in getting off the ground in any business, but many people think that it cost lots of money. It does not! As a matter of fact when we mentor people and they join our company, there is no charge. But, we actually interview people to make sure we have a match with our team. This industry is not right for everyone, many people are afraid of success.

Can Staying Healthy Help Senior Citizens Succeed?

Adequate Nutrients Within Calorie Needs

Consume a variety of nutrient-dense foods and beverages within and among the basic food groups while choosing foods that limit the intake of saturated and trans fats, cholesterol, added sugars, salt, and alcohol. Meet recommended intakes within energy needs by adopting a balanced eating pattern, such as the USDA Food Guide or the DASH Eating Plan.

For senior citizens or if over age 50. Consume vitamin B12 in its crystalline form (i.e., fortified foods or supplements). Vitamin B12 is known to help senior citizens with mental clarity.

Older adults,people with dark skin,and people exposed to insufficient ultraviolet band radiation (i.e.,sunlight). Consume extra vitamin D from vitamin D-fortified foods and/or supplements.

Senior Citizen Weight Management

To maintain body weight in a healthy range, senior citizens should try to balance calories from foods and beverages with calories expended. To prevent gradual weight gain over time, make small decreases in food and beverage calories and increase physical activity.

Those who need to lose weight. Aim for a slow, steady weight loss by decreasing calorie intake while maintaining an adequate nutrient intake and increasing physical activity.

Overweight senior citizens with chronic diseases and/or on medication. Consult a health care provider about weight loss strategies prior to starting a weight-reduction program to ensure appropriate management of other health conditions.

Physical Activity

Engage in regular physical activity and reduce sedentary activities to promote health, psychological well-being, and a healthy body weight. To reduce the risk of chronic disease in adulthood: Engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity, above usual activity, at work or home on most days of the week.

For most people, greater health benefits can be obtained by engaging in physical activity of more vigorous intensity or longer duration. To help manage body weight and prevent gradual, unhealthy body weight gain in adulthood: Engage in approximately 60 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity activity on most days of the week while not exceeding caloric intake requirements. To sustain weight loss in adulthood: Participate in at least 60 to 90 minutes of daily moderate-intensity physical activity while not exceeding caloric intake requirements.

Some people may need to consult with a health care provider before participating in this level of activity. Achieve physical fitness by including cardiovascular conditioning, stretching exercises for flexibility, and resistance exercises or calisthenics for muscle strength and endurance.

Senior Citizens may want to participate in regular physical activity to reduce functional declines associated with aging and to achieve the other benefits of physical activity identified for all adults.

How To Quit Your Way To Success

Many times people in Network Marketing join a company with the idea of making quick dollars fast. This concept is one that plagues over 90% of the people who join MLM/ Network Marketing. As a result of this mindset these people end up fueling the coffers of many Network Marketing companies instead of reversing the momentum and making money for themselves.

By joining a network marketing company and building a downline instead of a team, you are not building an asset but a liability. Liabilities make the network marketing companies rich and not the team builder.

Look at it this way, you build a downline of a few people and you decide that you are not making headway fast enough then someone else comes along and tells you that there is more money in joining their company faster so you leave your existing company and then go to the new one. When you persuade the members of your downline to leave and go to another company now the new company gets the initial sign-up money that is paid out.

So now the old company got your initiation cost that was paid and the new company gets new money for their initiation cost, so now two companies have made money on the same person. And this process goes on and on. Every time you join a new company in the Network Marketing Industry the forward motion of the old company is stopped, and you are having to start the forward motion all over again to gain momentum.

What is needed is to reverse this action and make the money for yourself. By reversing this action and staying put in your existing company you will be practicing "Reverse Momentum".

What is meant by "Reversing Momentum"?

Building a Team in a Network Marketing Company requires that you begin to build, and as you build you begin to start the compounding process of attracting new people on to your team. As you build your team the team members begin to reach out to others and start to attract others that you don't know, nor will ever know.

This is the positive momentum that you want to reach in networking which begins to build you're team over time. As the momentum increases your income increases along with the specific team members that are excited about growing their business. Everything becomes contagious.

By taking the money that you would spend to hop from one company to another and put it into your current company growth you will increase your momentum and your team will build faster. You are putting your money into your business when you invest into the same company, and build your team instead, of always putting your money into a new company. Every time you do this you halt momentum and have to start over again.

Look at it this way, if you were building a snowball you have to roll it and pack it, then roll it and pack it, until it is solid enough to keep rolling and rolling till it becomes a huge snowball. If you stop and leave that snowball alone and go do it again you never get out of the rolling and packing stage. The one you left gets smaller or does nothing and as the weather get warmer it melts then when the weather gets cold again the snowball is smaller. The bigger the snowball is the easier it will stay in tact through the warm spells and then as you keep rolling you get bigger and bigger with many more people on the team rolling the snowball.

The secret is to use the power of compounding and let it work for you instead of working for the network marketing company. It's impossible to "Quit Your Way To Success" but for some strange reason people think that they can. Quitters never win! It's a proven fact but ignored by many.

The secret is to find a good company and a good team to join, then interview them and see if you are all of like mind and can work together. Treat your network marketing business as a business and not a sideline. Get a good mentor that knows what they are doing and quiz them about their successes. Leave no stone unturned.

Senior Citizens Struggle To Retire

It's not going to be your parents retirement rewarded at 65 with a gold watch, a guaranteed pension, and health insurance for life. For many senior citizens, retiring is a struggle for some quite a mystery. Earlier generations of workers could rely on employer provided pensions, but now many workers will need to rely on their own work related and personal savings plus Social Security benefits. These savings have to last longer because senior citizens are living longer, often into their eighties and nineties.

A secure, comfortable retirement is every senior citizens dream. And now because we're living longer, healthier lives, we can expect to spend more time in retirement than our parents and grandparents did.

Senior citizens can work while receiving Social Security retirement benefits. When they do, it could mean a higher benefit for you in the future. Higher benefits can be important to you later in life and increase the future benefit amounts your family and your survivors could receive.

While senior citizens are working, their earnings will reduce their benefit amount only until they reach full retirement age. After seniors reach full retirement age your benefit amount is recalculated to leave out the months when it was reduced or when benefits were withheld due to your excess earnings.

For 2010, that limit is $14,160. Wow does this excite you? Just think you work your butt off for 40 plus years and nowyou get penalized for trying to make enough money to buy food and pay the rent.

Senior citizens who reach full retirement age in 2010, the limit on your earnings for the months before full retirement age is $37,680.

(If you were born in 1944 or 1945, your full retirement age is 66 years.)

Starting with the month you reach full retirement age, you can get your benefits with no limit on your earnings. What that means is senior citizens will either have to work until they drop dead or starve to death instead. This is the appreciation senior citizens receive for being the backbone of this country.

I am not one who will sugar coat what it is going to take for you to build a successful home business.

Your WHY is the glue that holds you together. If you are new to the home business arena you may never have heard anything about Your WHY Factor. Your WHY is also known as your dream, reason or burning desire, why you decided to build a home business.

Your WHY is the fuel that is going to keep you driving forward as you hit those bumps,potholes and detours along your journey to accomplishing your goals. Make sure that when you figure out what your WHY is you really believe in it. Your WHY has to be so powerful that nothing will stop you from moving forward to obtaining your goals.

I was at a time in my life where I needed this shot in the arm. You see, I am a

Senior Citizen and have a PhD in Economics. I have been coaching clients

about building business and creating wealth for thirty years and wanted to

go into the Network Marketing Business. I studied the MLM Business Model

and learned about building a Network Marketing Business.

I found my company and then went to work.

My Ego got the best of me!

I thought I knew everything there was about this model but Wow! Was I confused.

What is old school Network Marketing A.K.A known as traditional Network Marketing? See if this sounds familiar, make a list of everyone you know, don`t pre-judge any of them. Now call them up and tell hem you just started your own business and invite them to your home for an opportunity meeting.

How familiar are you with the concept of "Giving to Give"?

Many times people are "Giving to Get" and wonder why they don't get anywhere. When you give back without any strings attached you rise higher in the universe and enter into better alignment with the "Law of Attraction". Now, you may think this is hooky, but when you focus on how you can give to people without expecting anything in return, you then are rising above the norm.

Almost all marketing is centered around "Giving to Get". Placing a phone number so someone can call and hopefully purchase your products, or offering a special price to purchase in the next ten minutes. You get the picture, expecting to get something in return. Most people don't want to be sold they want to discover so when you give without expecting returns you allow them to discover.

It's OK to ask for an email address when giving information as long as you are going to continue to give information, and then let the person discover whether they want what you are offering or not. When you collect the name and email address to send them more information all you are doing is continuing to give. Some people say "well you are expecting to get the name, email address, and phone number, that's "Giving to Get" isn't it. No! its getting a pathway to delivering more information to lead to discovery.

Is MLM a bad word?

Multi-Level-Marketing is a term that stems from the mid 1940's and directly explains how the home business really works. Unfortunately many don't think that the MLM name is good because so many people fail in the business. So they decided to call it Network Marketing thinking that people would join it and become successful. In both cases the people who joined in this type of business still saw a high level of failure because they learned it the wrong way.

Why did this happen?

They weren't taught the right way! Let's look at MLM/Network Marketing the way it should be done.

B12 Vitamin Deficiency

Vitamin B12 deficiency is a cause of megaloblastic anemia. In this type of anemia, red blood cells are larger than normal and the ratio of nucleus size to cell cytoplasm is increased. There are other potential causes of megaloblastic anemia, including folate deficiency or various inborn metabolic disorders. If the cause is B12 deficiency, then treatment with B12 is the standard approach. Patients with anemia should be evaluated by a physician in order to diagnose and address the underlying cause.
Pernicious anemia

Pernicious anemia (blood abnormality) is a form of anemia that occurs when there is an absence of intrinsic factor, a substance normally present in the stomach. Vitamin B12 binds with intrinsic factor before it is absorbed and used by the body. An absence of intrinsic factor prevents normal absorption of B12 and may result in pernicious anemia. Pernicious anemia treatment is usually lifelong; supplemental vitamin B12 given intramuscularly, intranasally, or by mouth.

Vitamin B12 deficiency

Studies have shown that a deficiency of vitamin B12 can lead to abnormal neurologic and psychiatric symptoms. These symptoms may include: ataxia (shaky movements and unsteady gait), muscle weakness, spasticity, incontinence, hypotension (low blood pressure), vision problems, dementia, psychoses, and mood disturbances. Researchers report that these symptoms may occur when vitamin B12 levels are just slightly lower than normal and are considerably above the levels normally associated with anemia. People at risk for vitamin B12 deficiency include strict vegetarians, elderly people, breastfed infants, and people with increased vitamin B12 requirements associated with pregnancy, thyrotoxicosis, hemolytic anemia, hemorrhage, malignancy, liver or kidney disease. Administering vitamin B12 orally, intramuscularly, or intranasally is effective for preventing and treating dietary vitamin B12 deficiency.

Alzheimer's disease

Some patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease have been found to have abnormally low vitamin B12 levels in their blood. However, vitamin B12 deficiency itself often causes disorientation and confusion and thus mimics some of the prominent symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. Well-designed clinical trials are needed before a strong recommendation can be made.

Angioplasty

Some evidence suggests that folic acid plus vitamin B12 and pyridoxine daily can decrease the rate of restenosis in patients treated with balloon angioplasty. But this combination does not seem to be as effective for reducing restenosis in patients after coronary stenting. Due to the lack of evidence of benefit and potential for harm, this combination of vitamins should not be recommended for patients receiving coronary stents.

Breast cancer

Researchers at Johns Hopkins University report that women with breast cancer tend to have lower vitamin B12 levels in their blood serum than do women without breast cancer. In a subsequent review of these findings, it was hypothesized that vitamin B12 deficiency may lead to breast cancer because it could result in less folate being available to ensure proper DNA replication and repair. Higher dietary folate intake is associated with a reduced risk of breast cancer. The risk may be further reduced in women who also consume high amounts of dietary vitamin B12 in combination with dietary pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and methionine. However, there is no evidence that dietary vitamin B12 alone reduces the risk of breast cancer.

Cardiovascular disease/hyperhomocysteinemia

Hyperhomocysteinemia (high homocysteine levels in the blood) is a risk factor for coronary, cerebral, and peripheral atherosclerosis, recurrent thromboembolism, deep vein thrombosis, myocardial infarction (heart attack), and ischemic stroke. Elevated homocysteine levels may be a marker instead of a cause of vascular disease. However, it is not clear if lowering homocysteine levels results in reduced cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Folic acid, pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and vitamin B12 supplementation can reduce total homocysteine levels; however, this reduction does not seem to help with secondary prevention of death or cardiovascular events such as stroke or myocardial infarction in people with prior stroke. More evidence is needed to fully explain the association of total homocysteine levels with vascular risk and the potential use of vitamin supplementation.

Fatigue

There is some evidence that intramuscular injections of vitamin B12 given twice per week might improve the general well-being and happiness of patients complaining of tiredness or fatigue. However, fatigue has many potential causes. Well-designed clinical trials are needed before a recommendation can be made.

High cholesterol

Some evidence suggests that vitamin B12 in combination with fish oil might be superior to fish oil alone when used daily to reduce total serum cholesterol and triglycerides. Well-designed clinical trials of vitamin B12 supplementation alone are needed before a conclusion can be drawn.

Imerslund-Grasbeck disease

Administering vitamin B12 intramuscularly seems to be effective for treating familial selective vitamin B12 malabsorption (Imerslund-Grasbeck disease). Further research is needed to confirm these results.

Shaky-leg syndrome

Preliminary clinical reports show that cyanocobalamin may help relieve tremor associated with shaky-leg syndrome. Further research is needed to confirm these results.

Sickle cell disease

One study suggests that a practical daily combination may include folic acid, vitamin B12, and vitamin B6. This combination may be a simple and relatively inexpensive way to reduce these patients' inherently high risk of endothelial damage. Further research is needed to confirm these results.

Circadian rhythm sleep disorders

Taking vitamin B12 orally, in methylcobalamin form, does not seem to be effective for treating delayed sleep phase syndrome. Supplemental methylcobalamin, with or without bright light therapy, does not seem to help people with primary circadian rhythm sleep disorders.

Lung cancer
Preliminary evidence suggests that there is no relationship between vitamin B12 status and lung cancer.

Stroke

In people with a history of stroke, neither high dose vitamin B12 combinations containing pyridoxine, vitamin B12, and folic acid nor low dose combinations containing pyridoxine, vitamin B12, and folic acid seem to affect risk of recurring stroke.

Leber's disease

Vitamin B12 is contraindicated in early Leber's disease, which is a hereditary optic nerve atrophy.

Would You Spend 10000 Hours for MLM Success?

"There's one figure that everyone takes away from Malcolm Gladwell's new book, Outliers: 10,000 hours. That, he says, is the difference between success and non-success, genius and mediocrity. Anyone from the Beatles to Bill Gates who has succeeded has done so on the back of at least 10,000 hours of practice. Plus, obviously, some intelligence and talent. This is an extension of his last book, Blink, in which he praised the power of intuitive snap judgments - but you need to have experience to make those judgments.

Like all the books in this peculiarly American genre, it expands a one- sentence conclusion into a book, and few of us are in a position to dispute the statistical basis. It will give heart to nature's plodders, to the tortoises over the hares. The relationship between success and IQ works, says Mr Gladwell, only up to the point of reasonable intelligence - any more is a waste.

Outliers, like most pop social science, has some obvious truth. In fact, the essence of the argument was made in 1859 by Samuel Smiles in his immortal book, Self-Help. "Strenuous individual application," he declared, with plentiful examples, "is the price paid for distinction; excellence of any sort is placed beyond the reach of indolence."

The challenge to learn the art and science of individual change is now paramount to any group success.

Lasting, productive change efforts require significant changes in behavior to succeed. Most change management projects also require fundamental shifts in people's mindsets, culture, relationships, language, and other aspects of how people work with each other. Yet, most of today's change efforts still attempt to mandate changes in people from the outside in, through strategies such as the threat of job loss, new performance standards, or replacing old systems with new ones. However, any change effort will only succeed if people choose to change. Personal change only works if people commit to the process of change -for themselves.

Without support and guidance however, people are reluctant to risk or invest in the new behaviors. When an organization's leaders overtly model the new behaviors first, they create a safe environment for their managers and employees to also embrace change. As today's organizations require shifts in thinking and behavior in order to succeed, their leaders need to accept their responsibility to walk the talk they are asking of the organization.

Despite the efforts of well-intentioned change management professionals, most of their education and training efforts do not produce sustainable changes in behavior.

2. Many academic and journalistic accounts have demonstrated the effect of layoff on workers. But, the latest research demonstrates, layoff survivors are themselves not immune to the negative effects of downsizing and experience declines in work performance and quality of life.

Recent studies show that the symptoms of layoff survivor's syndrome are highly correlated with workers' perceptions of downsizing. Because of declining job satisfaction and job commitment caused by layoffs, productivity may in fact decline. This is an unintended consequence of restructuring.

Unsurprisingly, economic woes are simply a wake-up call for leaders to challenge themselves and their teams to best manage the worry and despair and achieve even more ambitious results through rigorous self-awareness and the new possibilities that go with it. Uncovering the beliefs and assumptions underlying behavior and results and replacing them with higher-performing choices via coaching is now a must for today's leaders and managers to navigate through the choppy economic waters.

Businesses especially need to train their managers to also become coaches during economic downturns.

Coaching and building strong teams is one of the key ways companies can survive through a downturn and also build their business. Also confirmed is an increase in organizations looking for contractors with executive coaching skills to "develop senior managers to lead their teams more effectively." Large organizations to have own coaching departments in near future:

"In 10 years' time there will be coaching departments in companies" The report adds such coaching departments will report to chief learning officers (CLOs), who will manage learning and development activities and have a seat on the board. Excellent presentation concerning how to promote a home business. I find that apathy, unwillingness to change, lack of education in the process of MLM and home business and other deciding factors lead to the miserable failure rate in the home business industry.

The old saying that "you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink" certainly applies in this case. The MLM business model is not the problem. Its the 80% rule. The mass of people that join any home business already believe that they know how to market that business. I am supposing that ego enters into the picture as well. If you are unwilling to learn your way to earn, that can be a huge difference in your overall performance in the home business and MLM marketing field.

The facts are very clear here. MLM is a sound business model. After all, you now see people like Donald Trump entering into the picture. In this dismal economy, where people are sitting back and waiting...waiting for the President to cure all our ills...waiting for the banking establishments to find new ways to take our money...waiting on someone, somewhere to do something, while we sit back in our utter complacency and apathy, is probably another key to the failure rate in the MLM industry.

If I were to share some insider secrets on how to promote a home business using the power of Google, I wonder if you would actually take the information and put it to good use? I doubt it. I have worked with literally hundreds of people who were telling the same story about making money online. Without a doubt, only a very small handful of these people do one single thing to promote that business where it will count, and that is on Google. I have literally handed the keys to people, and only had them lack the drive and initiative to start the car and drive it.

When you consider that 95% of people are falling short of their intended goals in making money from a home business, you have to question, why? Its not the MLM or network marketing company. Its not the pay plan, the matrix, the downline, and possibly not even the product. Its not that powerful upline sponsor who lied to you about the money making potential. Its not about anything that you might want to imagine. It all boils down to initiative, desire, drive and the goal to make money online that is the key to online success.

Are you aware that home business is actually a small minority online? Most would seem to think that making money online is searched millions of times, but in reality, home businesses are not in the top 1000 of the most searched keywords on the Internet. Most are surfing for porn, games, Brittany Spears and whatever else, and are certainly not trying to make money from an envelope stuffing business online.

So, say you have an MLM business on the Internet. How do you promote a home business? First, you decide that you are going to be forced to write something. Being the victim. I will clarify that. I am in no way a victim to anybody or anything.
But, unfortunately, the world is full of people that continue to be the
victim. Whether they are a victim in a marriage, whether they are the
victim of social violence or, whatever, these people are out there and I
believe this all comes about because each of us has our own choices to
make in life.

It has been said you are the architect of your own destiny. That's very true in a lot of ways.
Sure, apart from health issues we are the architects of our own destiny.
We can say who we want to be, where we want to be and what time we want
to be there.

But so many people can find fault with everybody but not themselves.
They are never wrong. If they keep blaming everyone else for things
that have gone wrong in their life or anything like that, they all of a
sudden start to become the victim. And once you get into a rut of
becoming the victim you will not get out of that, not without a great
deal of soul searching.

if it doesn't work at least you've got an education. You now know what
